I got my stitches out today!

I will let these videos tell the rest of my story:

Author: hannahbelle

I'm an 8 year old Rotti, who has a mass in my left, rear leg, right where I got TTA surgery 3 years ago. This leg is literally a pain in my butt. It will be amputated on Tuesday. Mommy says that a week from today I will be feeling much better. I'm a little scared right now.

  1. Thanks Auntie Ann!!!! I am snoozing at Uncle Shawn’s today. They put me back on gabapentin (I know, ugg), but it’s what I need for my nerve pain, since they cut a lot of nerves to amputate my leg. I didn’t cry last night. The gabapentin makes me sleepy. We went for a little walk this morning. I’m hanging with Shawn while Mommy does chores. I hate to even watch anyone do housework. 🙂

  2. You tell ‘am Belle!!! That bark has a
lot of sassy attitude behind! Love it!!

And oh my goodness!! Cannot believe how effortlessly she is swimming…..and with great form too!!

For whatever it’s worth. many dogs, including my Happy Hannah, stay on some form of pain meds for three weeks or more.

Belle really is a MIRACLE DOG 😁 Lighten up my world to see her happy and feisty!

    Hugs
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

  3. Thanks Sally! You know, Belle’s first name is Hannah 🙂 She swims better than she walks. She was always a little bow-legged in the back, now it’s awkward. I have no doubt that she’ll figure it out. I’m so happy she’s swimming. She loves to swim and it’s good exercise for strengthening those legs without carrying weight.

  4. Well Miss Hannah Belle., I have no doubt that my Happy Hannah has taken on the role as your personal Guardian Angel watching over you and protecting you💖💖💖💖💖💖
