Mommy might just be hopeful, but she thinks I’m improving a lot.

I'm an 8 year old Rotti, who has a mass in my left, rear leg, right where I got TTA surgery 3 years ago. This leg is literally a pain in my butt. It will be amputated on Tuesday. Mommy says that a week from today I will be feeling much better. I'm a little scared right now.

  1. OMD!!! I’m head -to -toe happy watching these videos!! And Belle looked happy making them!!! And she has THE best caregiving team evvvver!!!

I love how Uncle Shawn made that wheelchair for her! Brilliant!!

You are doing such an exquisite job of caring for Belle❤ A partial tear CAN heal and you are doing everything you can to protect it and give it time to repair. Obviously, with a three -legged dog it’s not easy. But she seems happy, you have any pain managed and you are finding ways to keep her “up and moving” for short spurts.

As you already know, cheering madly for this sweet girl!! Birthday gal looking good!!😁

    Hugs
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

  2. Thank you Sally! We took it easy today, because I was afraid that we might have overworked her yesterday.

Shawn is so good to us. He watched Belle while I ran off to the river for a New Year’s Day Paddle. I am not strong enough to lift her into the wheelchair, so he takes care of that part of it. It’s really a 2 person job, one to lift and one to make sure all the legs go in the right places.

    I am very hopeful!

    Happy New Year!!!

Anne, Belle and our good friend, Shawn
